Does Swift still celebrate Driver Appreciation Week?

Every September, we hold large scale, weeklong festivities for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. It is an industry wide celebratory event that takes place across the country. We typically feed thousands of drivers throughout the week with multiple catered meals a day, a daily schedule of activities for them and their families, build community with their terminal staff, and receive a Driver Appreciation gift. The one downside of the event is that it’s only once a year!

Thus, Driver Appreciation Day was born! We love celebrating our drivers with a week-long party every year. However, we understand not all our drivers get a chance to attend National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Whether it be due to their schedule, their driving route, or life circumstances at the time, we do not want drivers unable to make the September event to feel excluded.

Quarterly Driver Appreciation Day’s not only give us more chances to applaud our drivers, but it gives drivers more opportunities to attend. Drivers more than deserve to be recognized year around for all their hard work!
